Today we bring you new screenshots from the works of CryEngine 3 modders Maximum-Dev, The_Distiller, RayFan9876, TranceBaker, DevGuy1975, magictricknick2 and Tiesto. In addition, we present you two shots from an indie title called Liberico and videos from Ben Keeling’s map and another indie title called The Legend. The highlight of this week is magictricknick2’s recreation of Crysis’ island in CryEngine 3. Although the map has not been released yet, you can view two images from it below. Enjoy! Surprise Surprise; Battlefield 4 Will Not Support Mods

Well, we all knew this was going to happen. Battlefield 4 looks interesting, however it will follow BF3’s route. In other words, expect a lot of DLC packs, a Season Pass, and no modding tools. The later was confirmed by DICE general manager, Karl-Magnus Troedsson, who told PCGamer that DICE will not release any SDK for its upcoming shooter. Mirror’s Edge Reboot Was Sparked By A New Idea That Can Only Work On Next-Gen Platforms

Electronic Arts held an E3 2013 analyst call, in which it revealed some new information about the reboot of Mirror’s Edge. According to EA Labels president Frank Gibeau (and spotted by NeoGAF‘s Nirolak), this Mirror’s Edge game won’t be a shooter, will have more of Faith who won’t be constantly running from here and there, and could not happen on current or older generation platforms (excluding the PC of course). Need for Speed Rivals – E3 2013 Gameplay Footage

Electronic Arts has released a gameplay video for its upcoming racer, Need for Speed Rivals. This new Need for Speed title is powered by the Frostbite 3 engine, meaning that we can kiss those annoying stutter issues – that were present in the previous part of the series – goodbye. Battlefield 4’s Single-Player & Multiplayer Trailers Were Running On The PC

Well okay, we already knew that DICE would showcase Battlefield 4 on the PC, but we now have some evidence to back these claims. Yesterday, DICE revealed an image from the PC that would be running Battlefield 4. And today, during the MP mode that was demoed at EA’s conference we saw some of the devs playing with keyboard+mouse, indicating that EA was showing off the PC version of their title. And E3 is about to begin everyone. We expect to see some truly amazing things today (yes yes, even PC gamers should be excited) so make sure to watch some – if not all of them. Naturally, we’ll be bringing you news and videos from a lot of titles during these days, however you can use this post to discuss about Microsoft’s, Sony’s, EA’s and Ubisoft’s conferences. You can also find streaming links for those conferences below (currently only MS’ link is available, we’ll be sure to update the post with links for all other conferences when they are about to be streamed). First Screenshots For Mirror’s Edge, New Screenshots For Battlefield 4 & Need For Speed Rivals

Electronic Arts has released the first images of Mirror’s Edge reboot. In addition, the big publisher has released new screenshots for the multiplayer mode of Battlefield 4 and Need For Speed Rivals. All of these titles are powered by the Frostbite 3 engine. Battlefield 4 and Need For Speed Rivals are planned for a 2013 release, while Mirror’s Edge does not have an ETA yet. Enjoy! Battlefield 4 – Multiplayer ‘Commander’ E3 Trailer

DICE and Electronic Arts have released a new Multiplayer E3 trailer for Battlefield 4. This new trailer showcases the Commander mode that has been implemented in it. The Commander ‘class’ / role will let players take point and turn the tide of battle. Commanders will be able to command the battlefield, deploy gunship strikes and launch missile strikes.
