Dark Souls 2 – New Gameplay Footage Unveiled From Gamescom Community Event

Namco Bandai has released a new trailer for Dark Souls 2 that covers the Gamescom 2013 Community Event that was held on August 21 & 22, featuring new, never before seen, gameplay footage from Dark Souls 2. Dark Souls 2 promises to be as hard as its predecessor, while being more accessible to newcomers. Players will also discover a revamped server based multiplayer experience that will put a distinct Dark Souls II twist on the concept of playing and sharing with others. The Witcher 3 Gets A CGI Trailer, Dark Souls II Gets A Teaser Trailer

CD Projekt RED has released a CGI, cinematic, trailer for its upcoming RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, offering a thrilling glimpse into the morally ambiguous universe of Geralt of Rivia. Namco, on the other hand, revealed a teaser trailer for the Knight hero of Dark Souls II who was exploring dark pits and fighting dragons in the previous trailer. Namco Bandai Confirms That Dark Souls 2 Will Be Released On March 2014

Okay Dark Souls fans, we’ve got some good and some bad news for you today. The good news is that Dark Souls 2 got a target release date. The bad news is that the sequel to one of the hardest RPGs won’t be coming anytime soon. Namco Bandai has confirmed to Eurogamer that Dark Souls 2 is currently planned for a March 2014 release on current-gen systems and PC. Although Namco has not revealed – yet – whether Dark Souls 2 will be using GFWL or not, tha game’s director Yui Tanimura has shared some interesting new information about the PC version of this highly anticipated title. Dark Souls fans, we’ve got some news that may make you jump around like little bunnies. Dark Souls 2’s official website has been updated and it seems that the PC version won’t suffer from the atrocity called GFWL. Yeap, this may come as a pleasant surprise, however GFWL’s logo is absent from the official website, suggesting that FromSoftware won’t be using Microsoft’s DRM/Online system. Namco and IGN have released a 12 minutes trailer for Dark Souls 2, featuring in-game action. This video showcases the game’s environments and its combat system. Dark Souls 2 promises to be as hardcore as its predecessor, and while the development team claims that this second part features better visuals… well… it still looks like a blurry fest to us.
