The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings – Steam Summer Surprise Unveiled

A couple of days ago, we informed you about a Summer surprise for the Steam version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and it’s time now to unveil what this surprise actually is. In case you’ve been wondering and haven’t figured it out yet, this Summer surprise is an Achievement that also gives you a new, flaming version of Quen that can incinerate attackers. This new Quen attack looks different and it’s more ‘Summer-ish’. As stated, this Achievement is available only on the Steam version of The Witcher 2. CD Projekt RED has just hinted at a Summer surprise for owners of The Witcher 2’s Steam version. According to the team, PC gamers should fire up their Steam copy of “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings” because they’ve prepared something special for everyone who’s bought the game on that platform. Even though CD Projekt RED did not reveal much, we saw an unknown update for The Witcher 2 a couple of hours ago (the update was 80MB in size). The Witcher franchise has sold over 4 million copies

CD Projekt RED, the developer of “The Witcher” and “The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings” announced that the franchise has sold over 4 million copies of both games. The first installment of the series is available for PC and Mac. “The Witcher 2” can be experienced by PC and Xbox 360 users and will hit Mac computers in the future. The Witcher 2 – Patch 3.2 Released

CD Projekt RED has released a new patch for the PC version of The Witcher 2. This patch will update your game’s version to 3.2 and comes with some UI enhancements and tweaks. We should note though that in case you’re running an older version of The Witcher 2, you’ll need to update it to version 3.1 before using the patch 3.2. CD Projekt RED has just unveiled their new triple-A RPG game and we have the first juicy details about it. First and foremost, the game is called Cyberpunk and is based on Mike Pondsmith’s 1988 Cyberpunk, a pen & paper RPG system. CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk promises to feature rich and futuristic world, ultra modern technology, as well as decadent and degenerated human society. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has sold 1.7 million copies so far

CD Projekt RED has just revealed that their amazing RPG, The Witcher 2, has sold 1.7 million copies thus far. Although this number is not as high as, let’s say Diablo III, it’s still impressive for a game that launched as a PC exclusive title. Let’s also not forget that CD Projekt RED is a small company – compared to other triple-A studios that need to sell more copies of their games to make a profit. CD Projekt RED is really happy with the game’s sales and it will be interesting to see how many copies did the X360 actually sell (as that was not revealed in today’s conference). First details about CD Projekt RED’s second triple-A RPG coming tomorrow [UPDATED]

A couple of hours ago, a listing revealed that The Witcher 1 would be coming to both PS3 and X360. Naturally, a lot of console gamers raved in ecstasy while PC gamers felt betrayed, as most of them thought that the promised big announcement – scheduled for tomorrow – was the console version of the first ‘The Witcher’.
