Last week we informed you about Capcom being a victim of a cyberattack. Ragnar Locker, the group responsible for the attack, claimed they have stolen one terabyte of files. The attackers demanded eleven million dollars in bitcoins for a decryptor.
Capcom announced that their servers have been hit with a cyberattack. The attack took place on November 2nd. In order to prevent the attack spreading, the company proceeded in halting portions of their corporate network.
After eighteen years and six questionable movies, the Resident Evil movie universe is finally being rebooted. According to the director, the movie will have faithful ties to the original games.

Capcom has released a new update for the PC version of Resident Evil 3 Remake that removes the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Now while this anti-tamper tech did not affect the game’s performance, I’m pretty sure that some gamers will be grateful that the game does no longer uses it. It looks like Capcom is going all out to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. They already shared several new details regarding Resident Evil 8, which is the next installment in the series. Resident Evil 8, a.k.a.Village, will be released sometime in the next year.
