Daniel Licht – composer of Dexter series and Silent Hill: Downpour – is behind Dishonored’s score

Bethesda has revealed that film and television composer Daniel Licht is scoring the already award winning video game Dishonored, a first person shooter game with a steampunk action-adventure genre that includes voice work by Susan Sarandon, Brad Dourif, Carrie Fisher and Chloe Grace Moretz. Dishonored was developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, releasing October 9, 2012. Licht recently scored Silent Hill: Downpour, a survival video game. Licht is best known for scoring all seven seasons of Showtime’s Emmy Award winning series Dexter. Dishonored – Developer Documentary Part 4 – End Game

Bethesda has released the fourth and last developer documentary part for Dishonored. In ‘End Game’, the team at Arkane Studios reflect on the journey of taking Dishonored from its early conceptual stage to a world ready to be fully experienced by fans. Dishonored will be available in North America on October 9, 2012, in Australia and Spain on October 11, 2012, and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012. Enjoy! Our weekly Skyrim gallery is dedicated to Skyrimnexus member ‘DEZZZ.’ DEZZZ has created some of the best Skyrim concept arts we’ve ever seen, and we are pretty sure that a next-generation Elder Scrolls game could look similar to these following images. Bethesda has released the third developer documentary for Arkane Studios’ Dishonored. In this video, the team at Arkane Studios discuss the game’s depth of player choice. Dishonored casts you as a supernatural assassin driven by revenge. Creatively eliminate your targets with the flexible combat system as you combine supernatural abilities with weapons and gadgets at your disposal. Modder ‘Bronze316’ has released his ENBSeries mod for Bethesda’s RPG, Skyrim. The aim of this mod is to combine fantasy, realism, immersion, and cinematics in a very elegant way. Seasons of Skyrim ENB is compatible with practically all of Skyrim’s mods that do not interfere with the ENB Series binary files, and works fine with Realistic Lighting with Customization, Dynavision, Imaginator, and other mods. Reddit’s member ‘dudelsac’ has shared some lovely images from Prachov Rocks, the most popular sandstone rock town in the Bohemian Paradise, Czech Republic. What’s really amazing here is the fact that these – real life – images can come really close to Skyrim’s environments. In fact, it’s really hard to distinguish between what is real and what is not. MERP (Middle Earth Role Playing) Mod for Skyrim is not dead yet – Modders asking fans for their support

A couple of days ago, we informed about the Cease & Desist letter that Warner Bros sent to the MERP (Middle Earth Role Playing) modding team. As we said back then, Warner should not be sending such letters to modders as they are not creating commercial projects and they will not – obviously – earn any money from it. In fact, these guys are doing everyone a favour of creating such an ambitious mod. Naturally, the modding team will not give away 8 years of hard work so easily.
