Gearbox’s Battleborn Delayed Until May 3rd
Take-Two revealed – via its financial results – that Gearbox’s first person shooter, Battleborn, has been delayed until May 3rd. Take-Two did not reveal the reasons of this delay. The game was meant to be released on February 9th, meaning that it got delayed a month (probably due to re-scheduling and not because the team needed more time). Battleborn: For Every Kind of Badass (E3 2015 Trailer)
Gearbox has released the E3 2015 trailer for its new first-person MOBA shooter, Battleborn. Battleborn is coming this Winter on the PC, and will feature 5-Player co-op, 25 characters to choose from, competitive multiplayer, as well as a story mode. In addition, the game will sport a progression system via which players can earn experience points in every game mode to level-up individual heroes’ Character Rank, as well as their own profile Command Rank. Randy Pitchford Defends Battleborn, “If we didn’t bet on new, Borderlands never would’ve existed”
Randy Pitchford, president of Gearbox Software, decided to break his silence and defend Battleborn on Twitter. As you must be aware of, Battleborn is a new FPS with MOBA elements. And while people compare it to all MOBA games and marked it as ‘yet another MOBA game’, Pitchford made a stand and said that Battleborn is first and foremost an FPS game.
