New ARK: Survival Evolved patch will introduce PvP Conquest servers

tudio Wildcard announced today that it will launch a new cluster of Official PvP servers for ARK: Survival Evolved. According to the press release, these ‘Conquest’ Servers will offer Survivors the opportunity to play with up to 100 players per server and tribes will max out at 25 Survivors. Boosted 2X rates of taming, gathering, and experience will assist ARK Survivors in focusing more time directly on battling other tribes. ARK: Survival Evolved PC Performance Analysis

ARK: Survival Evolved was released back in August, however, and since the game had some PC performance issues, we’ve decided to postpone our PC Performance Analysis. Studio Wildcard has launched its ARK Sponsored Mods program, showcases the first sponsored mods

Studio Wildcard revealed today at the Game Developers Conference 2017 that it has launched the ARK Sponsored Mods program, which will provide both financial support and development advice to select modders of ARK: Survival Evolved. The program’s goal is to give a boost to the vibrant ARK modding community by selecting 15 projects each month to each receive $4,000 towards the modders’ ongoing development costs. Completed mods may also be considered for integration into the final retail release on PC and Consoles of ARK: Survival Evolved. Studio Wildcard will pay modders $4,000 per month in order to complete their mods for ARK: Survival Evolved

Now here is something interesting. Studio Wildcard has revealed that it will be selecting 15 modders each and every month, and will pay them $4,000 in order to complete their mods for ARK: Survival Evolved. Each month, the mods will be evaluated and it will be determined if those modders will continue to be paid for the next month, or if a mod will be dropped from the program and a new one added.
