Call of Cthulhu 4K Screenshots Gallery On Epic Settings

Call of Cthulhu has just been released and below you can find some 4K screenshots from it on Epic settings. In order to capture these screenshots, we used our NVIDIA GeForce RTX2080Ti and kept MSI Afterburner enabled in order to give you an idea of how the game runs on this particular graphics card in 4K.

Call of Cthulhu does not look that great. The game’s first city environment feels underwhelming, its NPCs are not as detailed as those featured in other modern-day games, the lighting system is old-gen-ish and there is no option to disable the annoying Chromatic Aberration.

Yes, Cyanide is a small studio and Call of Cthulhu cannot compete other triple-A first-person games like – for example – the upcoming Battlefield game. However, the game feels really old-gen-ish in every possible way; from animations and overall environmental interaction to its color palette and lighting system.

In 4K, our RTX 2080Ti was able to run the game with more than 60fps, however its visuals are so underwhelming that we weren’t seriously impressed by it.

We’ll talk more about the game’s performance in our upcoming PC Performance Analysis so stay tuned for more. Until then, enjoy the following screenshots!
