Rockstar has released a couple of new updates for the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5 Enhanced Edition. The first one came out on March 5th and the second was released on March 6th. So, let’s take a look at them.
The March 5th Update fixed an issue that resulted in a 120hz cap being applied when Frame Limit is set to Off. It also fixed an issue that resulted in players being charged when purchasing the Karin S95 migration reward vehicle.
As for the March 6th Patch, it brought some general fixes for stability and security. And that was it. Rockstar hasn’t fixed any of the game’s issues with it. Not that this surprises me as these first two updates were quite small.
For those wondering, all of the gameplay mods for GTA 5 Legacy Edition are NOT compatible with the Enhanced Edition. Most of them use the open iv or script hook and both look for the GTA.exe. However, the executable for the Enhanced Edition is named GTA5_Enhanced.exe. As such, all of the gameplay mods are not working right now.
Sadly, this affects almost all of the GTA 5 mods we’ve shared. Even this mod, which overhauls the game’s story and side characters, is not working with the Enhanced Edition. I’m also certain that the NaturalVision Evolved and QuantV mods are not working with it. So, this kind of sucks.
Anyway, Steam will download these latest updates the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find their complete changelogs.
