New AMD Fluid Motion Frames Driver enables HDR support, improves frame pacing and image quality

AMD has released a new AFMF (AMD Fluid Motion Frames) driver for its RDNA 2 and RDNA 3 GPUs. According to the release notes, the October 13th version enables support for HDR. Moreover, it improves frame pacing, and brings additional game support for AMD Radeon Anti-Lag+. Lords of the Fallen’s Ultra Settings are “Next-Gen”, can drop to 40fps at Native 4K on NVIDIA RTX 4090

CI Games has just released its Unreal Engine 5-powered Souls-like game, Lords of the Fallen, on PC. Lords of the Fallen takes advantage of Lumen and Nanite, and its Ultra Settings are “Next-Gen” demanding. Lords of the Fallen Patch 1.1.191 released, disables DLSS 3 Frame Generation, full changelog

Hexworks has released the first PC update for its latest Souls-like Unreal Engine 5-powered game, Lords of the Fallen. Valve states that AMD Anti-Lag+ will get you banned in Counter-Strike 2

AMD has released the Radeon Software Adrenalin 23.10.1 driver for its graphics cards (we’ll have a separate story for it later today). Among other things, this driver enables Anti-Lag+ on the RX 7000 series GPUs for Counter-Strike 2. However, Valve has publically stated that the usage of Anti-Lag+ will get you banned in CS2.
