We were really annoyed by Skyrim’s latest patch. We don’t mind the Steam DRM that was introduced. But the fact that it broke some of the most useful mods was a bit hard to swallow. Thankfully though, there is a solution as modder ‘Monochrome Wench’ released Skyrim4GB; a tool to load Skyrim with the Large Address Aware executable flag set so the entire 4GB Virtual Memory Address Space can be used by the game. And yes, this tool is compatible with Skyrim’s latest DRM version so go ahead and grab it. So, if you were looking forward to Ubisoft’s upcoming third person action-stealth game that will be based on the Ghost Recon series, you’ll have to buy a console. Why you ask? With the recent news about the delay of the console patch for Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection, we began wondering; what ever happened to the PC version of the game that was supposed to be out one month after the console releases? To our surprise, there isn’t any store – digital or retail – that has the PC version and to make things worse, Ed Boon himself said – a few days ago – that there never was a PC version of this arcade collection. Call us impressed but Volition has just announced that they are working on a patch for the PC version of Saints Row: The Third. Even though the company hasn’t released any changelog or an ETA, we do know that this patch will feature further optimization and better performance. Sounds great, right? You bet as Red Faction: Armageddon was not supported at all by the very same studio after its initial release. Hell, there isn’t even any SLI profile for it as of yet. So kudos to Volition for properly supporting their latest game. Continue reading Saints Row: The Third PC; Volition is working on a performance patch→
