SEGA released today a new, live-action, video for their latest Kinect game, Rise Of Nightmares. Rise of Nightmares promises to deliver a horror experience like never before and players will be forced to use their bodies against their enemies. This live-action video managed to capture the horror atmosphere perfectly, so check it out. The game is slated for a September release on Kinect for X360. In a turn of events, EA decided to pull Crysis 2 from Valve’s distribution service, Steam. The game is now available only through Origin, EA’s new digital distribution store. Funny thing is that the Steam version of Crysis 2 was quite successful and we don’t know if EA decided to pull it in order to promote as much as they can their own digital distribution store. Discord Games released four new screenshots and the teaser trailer for their 2D multiplayer platform game, Take Arms. Take Arms will be released on XBLA, will support up to 8 players and promises to deliver fast action at 60fps with anime-style HD graphics. The game is scheduled for a late Summer release and will cost 240 Microsoft Points. Players can choose from three different classes; The Striker, the Destroyer and the Grunt. PomPom Games announced that their retro shoot’em up game, Alien Zombie Megadeath, will hit the US PSN on June 21st and the European PSN on July 6th. Developed by PomPom games, Alien Zombie Megadeath is a platform shoot’em up that will feature 70 levels, one-shot and survival level types, multiplayer co-op, a medal system with over 280 medals to unlock and independent leaderboards for all levels. Wolfire Games released today a new video, in which David Rosen showcases some of the changes that he has done to the game’s latest Alpha version, 135. Among other things, David optimized spawner with added icons, added motion blur to weapons, distinction between light and heavy cuts and cut lines.
