New Carrier Command: Gaea Mission Screenshots

Bohemia Interactive released today two new screenshots for the remake of the classic Carrier Command game called, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission. Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will feature large 32 island archipelago occupied by an enemy and will be set in the Gaea Universe, with a story adapted from the science fiction trilogy of novels. The game will reinvent the classic gameplay of the original Carrier Command, released in 1988, to deliver a truly next-gen experience. Latest version of Project CARS comes with CGI quality graphics

Slightly Mad Studios released a new build for their community-based sim racing game, Project CARS, and some of its Team Members captured several new screenshots. And holy sweet Jesus, does it look sexy. Project CARS is the best looking racing game to date and shows off what PC gamers can expect from a racing game these days. I tell you this; 2012 will be an amazing year for indie fans. So, PC gamers, meet today Castle Story; a real time voxel-based strategy game that is developed by Sauropod Studio, a two-man team that is based on Montréal, Canada. As you will see in the following video, this game is based on Minecraft and it could very well surpass it. Well, that is if the developers keep on delivering. Operation Crowbar commenced by Valve’s fans

Now this is interesting. In an attempt to get Valve’s attention, Valve’s fans decided to commence Operation Crowbar. The operation involves buying a $7 crowbar from Amazon and shipping it to Valve’s offices until “Valve is up to their nipples in crowbars“. Ooooooooooookay, we get that Valve’s fans are annoyed with the company’s stance over these past few weeks, but seriously? Fortune Summoner demo is now available; coming to Steam on January 17th

Great news for indie fans as the demo of Fortune Summoners has just been released. In case you were unaware of, Fortune Summoners is a side-scrolling RPG/platformer, with you in control of one of three party members and the computer controlling the other two (with highly customizable AI dictating their actions). AMD’s Catalyst Creator hints to RAGE’s upcoming patch; Catalyst 12.1a preview released

Better late than never I guess. AMD’s Catalyst Creator hinted today to RAGE’s upcoming patch that will most probably be released alongside the game’s level editor at the end of this month. This new patch will include a texture sharpening option that was promised by John Carmack some months ago. Well, to be more precise, we assume that this feature will be included but since this is iD Software and Bethesda we are talking about. Modder Pluto released yesterday the latest version of his Realistic Lighting Without Post-Processing Mod for Skyrim. According to the modder, this mod makes the lighting more realistic without the use of screen shader injections or other post-processing. This means that there will be no performance decrease at all, and all weather and locations have unique light settings.
