Modder ‘DARTH__VADER’ has released a new version of his DarthMod mod for Creative Assembly’s strategy game, Total War: Shogun 2. DarthMod 4.0 comes with bayonets support. Bayonets are finally available thanks to the mod of IGdood and kungfuserge and DarthMod has used this mod’s technique to enable Bayonets and balanced the stats accordingly. Kalypso Media and Realmforge revealed today their upcoming vampire RPG that will be called ‘DARK’. The game puts players in the shoes of Eric Bane, an amnesia-stricken vampire who wakes up one day in a busy bar full of other vampires and it’s up to them to discover his past, fight through a dark and modern world, and utilize his powerful vampire abilities. Torchlight II’s closed beta is underway and YouTube’s member ‘Fr0styNinja’ has decided to upload the first 5 minutes of it. In this video, you’ll see the character creation, the game’s intro and some in-game footage from the first level. Truth be told, the game seems similar to Diablo 3 (in graphics and its artistic style). But then again, Torchlight had always a ‘cartoon-ish’ style. MaLDo has been hard at work these past weeks with the latest version of his amazing Texture Pack for Crysis 2. The modder has released some new comparison shots between the latest version of MaLDoHD and the vanilla version of Crysis 2. This time around, MaLDo concentrated in fixing and improving the wall textures. The end result is astounding and we can’t wait to get our hands on this new Texture Pack. Notice also the shadows that are being casted from the leaves in the modded screenshots. As always, the vanilla shots are on the left and the modded shots are on the right. Man, I really feel sorry for Capcom. Yesterday, the PC version of their amazing mashup between Tekken and Street Fighter got leaked but that shouldn’t be an issue as SFxT is slated for release in a couple of days. Not only that, but SFxT is all about the online fights and naturally, those with pirated versions cannot enjoy them. Which is a good thing mind you. What really surprised us today though was the fact that another Capcom title got leaked before hitting stores. Firefly Studios announced today the release of a new patch for Stronghold 3. Patch 1.10 adds some major gameplay tweaks and an all-new multiplayer Coronation game mode. It will release next Friday on 11 May 2012. In Coronation Mode players will race to become the King of Kings.Players start off at the lowly rank of “Village Idiot” with limited access to buildings and military units.
