Fatshark has released a new gameplay video for their squad-based action RPG, Krater. Krater looks great and is currently slated for a June 12th release on Steam. KRATER is a lush post-apocalyptic top down RPG and the base pillars are crafting, exploration and consequence. According to the report, more than 648 million people have actually downloaded and played Angry Birds by the end of 2011. Impressive number, right? Bohemia Interactive has released a new beta version for the remake of the classic Carrier Command game. This second version of Carrier Command: Gaea Mission’s Beta fixes some issues that were reported from the community and adds a Film Grain effect, DoF and better weather effects. In addition, trees should appear like ‘dancing’ as the wind should be having a consistent effect on a collection of trees and the Map should be a little animated when you have zoomed out. Wolfire Games have released a new video that showcases the changes that have been made to the latest alpha version of Overgrowth. This week, David Rosen has set up proper animatable wolf rig, started to overhaul level load system and fixed a memory leak when saving shadow textures. Rebellion has released the PC version of Sniper Elite V2, and it’s time to see how this sniper game performs on our beloved platform. Sniper Elite V2 was self-published by Rebellion themselves and is a nice port. There have been some improvements to the game’s textures and there are keyboard indications for all in-game actions. There is also a mouse smoothing option, so be sure to disable it if you want to avoid any mouse acceleration side effects. Unfortunately, there is no option to adjust the FOV, and you might notice some pop-in when the levels are initially loaded. Good news for ArmA fans as some new footage from ArmA 3 has emerged. Czech gaming channel “Gamepage.cz” interviewed Bohemia’s Ivan Buchta in which the YouTube gaming channel has featured some new footage from the company’s upcoming military sim. Although the footage was captured in low-res, it looks great and you’ll be able to take a look at the new Stratis island. ArmA 3 is currently slated for a late 2012 release on the PC. Enjoy!
