Focus Home Interactive has released Pro Cycling Manager 2012, a bicycle management game that sees the players training a team of riders in an attempt to win some of the greatest official competitions such as Tour De France, La Vuelta and Ardennes Classics. Pro Cycling Manager 2012 is powered by the Gamebryo engine and features 3D races, so it will be interesting to see how the game performs on modern-day PC configurations. AMD has released a new beta version of their Catalyst drivers for their graphics cards. According to the release notes, Catalyst 12.7 Beta offers up to 25% performance boost in Skyrim, up to 6% in Crysis 2 and up to 6.5% in Batman: Arkham City. In addition, these new drivers offer Anti-Aliasing support for Blizzard’s hack n slash action RPG game, Diablo III. And that’s why you should not delay your PC versions our dear developers. Radical Entertainment, developers of Prototype, are closing down as the Prototype IP did not find a broad commercial. Call me crazy, but I really liked Prototype. I thought it was cool and fun and had the potential to evolve into an amazing franchise. However, Radical did not exploit the game’s potential, delayed the PC version in order to boost the console versions and here we are today, with the closure of this gaming studio. Remember Square Enix’s Agnis Philosophy tech demo? What a brilliant piece of demo that was, right? A lot of gamers were wondering what kind of GPU was powering this beast, as we were getting visuals similar to CG quality with constant 60fps. Some thought that it was Nvidia’s GTX690 cards powering it, while others thought that those visuals could only be achieved by a quad-SLI system.
