Ubisoft’s creative lead, Alex Hutchinson, has revealed in this year’s Comic-Con that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed 3 will support DX11. Hutchinson said that a dedicated team is working on the PC version and that the game will take advantage of many DX11 features. Hutchinson did not reveal what those features could actually be, but we expect to see tessellation support as this is the highlight of DX11. Dreampainters have finally released Anna, a new adventure game that features a couple of horror sequences. Although we originally thought that it would be similar to Frictional Games’ Amnesia game, Anna is more of a traditional adventure game that suffers from issues that plagued this genre all these years. Slightly Mad Studios has released a new build for Project CARS that adds rain spray effects and Darkdeus has shared some new screenshots from it. Well, it seems that was half the truth, unless the Japanese company decides to unveil what has been shown in this year’s Comic-Con behind closed doors. Hideo tweeted a couple of hours ago that we could expect lots of happenings at ComicCon. Today we bring you some new images from the works of Crysis 2 modders d1ea, kabrita, USSR_GRAND, neo83_gr, angjminer, iSqueezee, chicken, and rGOt. iSqueezee and chicken had been experimenting with various assets, while rGOt and kabrita had been tweaking their tropical maps. angjminer on the other hand is creating a Doom map for Crysis 2, and both neo83_gr and USSR_GRAND are working on their own, custom maps. Do you know what would be really cool in Battlefield 3, apart from fighting against dinosaurs? Well, fighting against dragons. It appears that more gamers share this vision with us, and we were surprised to see some of them creating amazing mashups between these two games. Imagine a game with Skyrim’s openness and Battlefield’s mechanics. Man, that would be really interesting. A couple of days ago, we informed you about a Summer surprise for the Steam version of The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and it’s time now to unveil what this surprise actually is. In case you’ve been wondering and haven’t figured it out yet, this Summer surprise is an Achievement that also gives you a new, flaming version of Quen that can incinerate attackers. This new Quen attack looks different and it’s more ‘Summer-ish’. As stated, this Achievement is available only on the Steam version of The Witcher 2. High Moon Games and Activision have revealed a new third-person action game, starring Deadpool. Deadpool The Videogame is slated for release next year, and although it’s being developed by High Moon Studios, there is hope for a PC version as Transformers: Fall of Cybertron got one. Nolan North (known as the voice of Drake in the Uncharted series) will be the voice of Deadpool and you can find below the debut trailer of the game that is courtesy of IGN. Enjoy!
