Square Enix has released a new trailer for Sleeping Dogs. Developed by United Front Games in collaboration with Square Enix London Studios, Sleeping Dogs is a gritty open world cop drama set in the vibrant city of Hong Kong. Taking the role of undercover cop Wei Shen, players are tasked with taking down one of the world’s most fearsome criminal organizations from the inside – the Sun On Yee Triad. The multiple-prize winning space simulation Galaxy on Fire 2 with a Metacritic dream score of 90 is being released in full-HD quality for Windows PC in mid August 2012, and for the first time also with a German language edition. The flagship of the Hamburg studio Fishlabs Entertainment is currently available for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac, as well as certain Android devices (Xperia Play and Tegra2-Chipsets). Altogether, titles in the Galaxy on Fire series have already been installed on more than 20 million mobile devices. With the cooperation of bitComposer Entertainment AG, Galaxy on Fire 2 Full HD will be released as a Steam download and as a boxed game in shops. The latest UK Retail and Steam Digital PC Charts have been unveiled and as we can see, The Sims 3 and ArmA II: Combined Operations are the best selling PC games for this week. The Sims series seems to be dominating the UK Retail charts, as there are six ‘The Sims’ titles in the Top 10. Diablo III has lost the first place and is currently following The Sims 3, while Battlefield 3 has managed to re-enter the charts. Milestone has released five new screenshots for WRC 3, showing off the Monte-Carlo stage. WRC 3 features all the rallies in the 2012 WRC calendar, complete with all leading WRC teams and drivers in the revamped career mode. WRC 3 also features a brand new graphics engine, called Spikengine, allowing Milestone to accurately model lighting, particle effects and other real-world characteristics to create an in-game virtual reality, offering complete immersion in the WRC universe. 2K Games’ third-person shooter has been released alongside Ubisoft’s latest iteration of the Ghost Recon series, and here we are today with a Performance Analysis for it. Spec Ops: The Line follows Future Soldier’s example and is rather friendly to casual gamers and is straying away from its roots. Instead of a tactical game, we got ourselves a third-person action game in which the player can give simple, typical orders to its group. Quite frankly, if you’ve been a fan of the first Spec Ops games, you’ll be disappointed by this one. However, keep an open mind because as a third-person action game, Spec Ops: The Line is actually great, tells a compelling story, and performs amazingly on a variety of PC configurations.
