Ubisoft Confirms Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, More Details Coming This Monday

Assassins Creed IV Black Flag
And it’s official everyone. Ubisoft has confirmed – via its Twitter account – that the next Assassin’s Creed game will be called Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and will be focused on pirates. Well, at least that’s what this new image suggests that was shared by the French company. Ubisoft has also stated that more information about this fourth part of the Assassin’s Creed series will be unveiled this Monday at 6pm CET. We’ll definitely hold on before passing judgement, however we’ll be disappointed if rumors are true and players control Haytham’s father. Seriously, if that happens, AC4 will be exactly like the ‘Lost’ TV mini-series; no ending and constant changes based on the last episode of it. Enjoy the following image teaser and stay tuned for more! Continue reading Ubisoft Confirms Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, More Details Coming This Monday

Watch Dogs Engine Won’t Be Plagued By AnvilNext’s Engine Performance Issues

Watch Dogs v3
A couple of days ago, we informed you about the new engine that will be powering Watch Dogs, the Disrupt engine. Naturally, what came to our mind was that the Disrupt engine would be an evolution of the AnvilNext engine, the engine used in Assassin’s Creed III. Therefore, we decided to ask Sebastien Viard, Technical Director on Watch Dogs, about it and whether this engine would be plagued by the same performance issues we’ve encountered in Assassin’s Creed III. Watch Dogs
Well, we all saw that coming, right? Still, it’s good to have an official confirmation about the lead platform of Watch Dogs. Yeap, this is the exact opposite of what is currently happening, so this is at least good news for all PC gamers. Why you ask?
