Ubisoft and its studio Nadeo announced today that the full version of the fast-paced shooter ShootMania Storm is now available worldwide on PC digital download, on its official website, Steam and other digital retailers. Shadowrun Returns Launches In June, Pre-Orders Open In April 29th

Harebrained Schemes announced that Shadowrun Returns will be launched this June for the PC. In addition, the development team revealed that pre-orders will open in April 29th, and that the game will be released via Steam. In other words, Shadowrun Returns won’t be DRM-free as it was advertised back in its Kickstarter days. Well okay, a version of it will be distributed for free, however future DLCs will be distributed exclusively via Valve’s distribution service. Good news for PC gamers as Bethesda and Gearbox have released patches for Aliens: Colonial Marines and Dishonored. According to their changelogs, the Aliens: Colonial Marines patch adds the ability to turn off the annoying film grain filter, while the Dishonored patch comes with a lot of bug fixes for both the base game and the Dunwall City Trials. We should note that Dishonored’s update is also available for consoles. Both of these updates will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client. Project Eternity – First In-game Footage Looks Sexy

Obsidian Entertainment released the first footage of Project Eternity, which runs on Unity; showcasing the game’s water, trees, day/night and lighting system. Project Eternity is a 2D game, and looks bloody amazing. In fact, Obsidian has managed to create one of the best isometric prototypes – visually – we’ve ever seen, and the animation system is great even at this state of the game. Now this is really impressive. Cary Walkin has informed us about his new RPG that is being made entirely in Microsoft’s Excel. Yeap, you read that right. An RPG made entirely in Excel. Cary’s goal was to take something used commonly for work and turn it into a game that is genuinely fun. And ironically, it’s pretty cool. Lost Planet 3 Delayed Two Months, Scheduled For An August 27th Release

Capcom has issued a new press release for Lost Planet 3, in which the Japanese company revealed the new release date for it. According to Capcom, the game is currently planned for an August 27th release, two months after its previous release (which was on June 25th). Capcom has not revealed any reasons behind this delay, but our guess is that the company decided to push it back in order to give Remember Me a few extra months. Let’s not forget that Remember Me is a new IP, and Capcom will have to play its cards right unless it wants to kill it from the get-go.
