Deep Silver released today the second chapter of Metro: Last Light’s Ranger survival guide which aims to prepare the player against the hostile inhabitants of the Metro, both human and mutant. While deadly creatures control the desolate Moscow wastelands, the human survivors, having splintered into extremist factions, gangs of bandits, and the order of Rangers, try to maintain a hold on the tunnels of the Metro. Electronic Arts and LucasArts announced that the first digital expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic, Rise of the Hutt Cartel, is now available for players worldwide. Available for £11.99, or at half price for current Subscribers (£5.99), players can extend their personal Star Wars saga, with exciting new playable missions, new features and a striking new planet, Makeb. Playing through Rise of the Hutt Cartel will raise the game’s level cap to 55 and allow players to access a host of new, higher-level group content in the recently released Game Update 2.0: Scum and Villainy. Worlds of Magic is the 4X strategy game meant to be the spiritual successor to Master of Magic, featuring a D20 OGL custom battle system, classic 4X gameplay and a load of magic spells. Interceptor Entertainment has released an 18 minutes video for Rise of the Triad, showcasing the multiplayer mode of this highly anticipated remake. Rise of the Triad is planned for a Summer 2013 release on the PC, and is powered by Epic’s Unreal Engine 3. This remake promises to return to the roots of all old-school FPS titles, and as you can see, its multiplayer mode feels really close to Quake 3 (which is a good thing mind you). Enjoy! Bohemia Interactive has released a new patch for the alpha version of ArmA 3. This new patch will update your game’s version to 0.54 and comes with a new fog technology, PhysX collisions related crashes fixed, performance improvements related to object instancing, as well as tweaked terrain shadows.
