SEGA has revealed via its latest financial reports that Aliens: Colonial Marines has sold 1.31 million units. Yeap, despite the controversy surrounding it, this new Aliens game has managed to surpass the one million mark, and was the second best selling title for the publisher (the best selling title was Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed that sold 1.36 million copies). Remember Nvidia’s and Activision’s facial tech demos? They were amazing, weren’t they? Well get ready for a new facial animation capture technology that looks even better. Motion Capture Systems Developers have released a tech demo, showcasing their real-time markerless Facial Motion Capture System in Action. It looks miles better than what Nvidia and Activision showcased a few months ago. Of course we don’t know whether this new tech will be used in games or not, however the same can be said about Nvidia’s and Activision’s demos. Good news for all Resident Evil fans as Capcom announced – via the game’s official FB page – that the demo for Resident Evil: Revelations will be released on May 14th. The demo will hit PSN, Xbox LIVE, Nintendo eShop and Steam. European PS3 players will have to wait one more day, as the demo will be available on the European PSN on May 15th. Deep Silver has released the PAX East demo footage of Saints Row IV. This new video showcases some of the changes made in the latest part of the Saints Row series. As we can see, players will be able to further customize their weapons, while there will be more ‘toys’ to play with.
