CI Games has announced that Alien Rage, a new sci-fi first-person-shooter that feels like a blend between Unreal 2 and Bulletstorm, will invade Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC worldwide Autumn 2013. A new cinematic trailer has also been released today which sets up the ominous backstory and the hunt for the ultimate power source: promethium. Capable of powering an entire planet or completely destroying it, it’s up to players to prevent the universe’s prize of promethium from falling into the wrong hands and taking down everything that comes in their way. Hayssam Keilany has released a new set of screenshots for his amazing – yet to be released – iCEnhancer 2.5 mod for GTA IV. The following images showcase some of the changes that Keilany has done to his mod, and look as good as they can possibly get. Now imagine what GTA V will look with an iCEnhancer mod. According to the modder, this sixth beta is the latest before release, meaning that we might get our hands on it sooner than later. And it’s finally here. Back in February 2012 we told you that Warner Bros did not have any plans for Mortal Kombat PC but the company had been gauging interest about it. Naturally, a lot of people did not believe us until the game was leaked via Steam’s registry. And then came the official announcement. Raffaele Mele, an independent game designer at Hybris Studios, has informed us about a new action/strategy platformer. Titled ‘Joint Pain’, this indie attempt puts players against waves of crazy skeletons. The player needs to use the environment to their advantage at all times. Equipped with a sword and a shield, the player can shield bash and slash to keep their enemies at bay. Raffaele has released a teaser trailer for it that can be viewed below. Ever wondered what Darksiders 2 would look like in CryEngine 3? Well, time to get a taste of it. Modder The_Distiller recreated Darksiders 2’s character, Crowfather, in CryEngine 3 and we have to admit that the end result is quite stunning. Keep also in mind that this was done by one – yet talented – modder, so imagine what a triple-A studio can achieve with Crytek’s engine. For comparison purposes, we’ve also included the a shot of Crowfather from Darksiders 2 (the one on the left). Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new video for Brutal Doom, showcasing a new combo system that will be featured in it. As the modder describes, in V19 there will be a simple combo system similar to the system used by the Fighter on Brutal HeXen; pressing the fire, alt fire, and kick buttons in a sequence will unleash powerful combo attacks.
