Seaven Studio was kind enough to provide us with a review code for its upcoming platform puzzler, Ethan Meteor Hunter, thus you can enjoy a walkthrough its first 15 minutes. In this game, players take the role of Ethan; a rat with an attitude, who was hit on the head by a meteorite giving him supernatural powers. Therefore, players will have to guide Ethan through 50 levels across 3 unique worlds.
Ethan Meteor Hunter is a simple yet fun puzzle game. Ethan has the power of telekinesis and the ability to freeze time, enabling him to move objects around while the world is on hold. These powers will help you solve the puzzles that are presented to you in these 50 levels.
Our first contact with Ethan Meteor Hunter left us quite satisfied. Though this is not as ground breaking as – let’s say – Portal, it is highly enjoyable. Its gameplay mechanics are polished and the idea to pause the time in order to move objects as a means to solve the game’s puzzles is undoubtedly cool.
