8-bit Studios announced that it has formalized an agreement with Epic Games to use Epic’s latest Unreal Engine 4 to develop its upcoming game, Skara—the Blade Remains. Skara will be one of very few licensed to use the “most world-class game engine to date” and it will be interesting to see how much the team will be able to push it. A new video for Watch Dogs has been leaked today, showcasing parts from the multiplayer mode of this highly anticipated title. This video seems a bit unpolished (perhaps the footage is from an early version?), and Ubisoft has been trying to take it down this whole day. Good news keep on coming for adventure fans as Rival Games has also informed us about its upcoming adventure title called The Detail. The Detail is said to be a classic 2D point-and-click adventure with a noir theme inspired by TV crime drama series like The Wire, an art style that borrows heavily from graphic novels like The Watchmen, and focused on deep, story-driven gameplay similar to Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead, where players’ choices carry consequences that alter the course of the narrative. As we’ve already said, TitanFall looks like a pretty interesting title. After confirming that its debut title won’t be exclusive to Windows 8, Respawn Entertainment revealed that it does not plan to settle with a crappy PC version of it. Or at least that’s what the company stated a couple of hours ago. Thus, it will be interesting to see whether there will be a FOV slider or any other specific PC features (like offering the ability to completely disable mouse smoothing / acceleration).
