CCP Games today announced it has begun development of EVE: Valkyrie, a multiplayer spaceship dogfighting shooter set in the EVE Universe. The game uses virtual reality to give players the sense of being a real pilot in an EVE Online spaceship and will be released in 2014.
Square Enix unveiled today a new trailer and images for Murdered: Soul Suspect. The trailer, titled “The Witness”, is the latest in an episodic series for Murdered: Soul Suspect, a dark, supernatural detective thriller with a unique gameplay twist: solving your own murder from the afterlife. Ubisoft has released an official live-action trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Although this trailer is of high quality, it is not as epic – at least in our opinion – as the live-action trailer of Assassin’s Creed III. Still, it’s good to see such trailers, so go ahead and give it a go. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is currently planned for a November 1st release on WiiU, PS3 and X360. Gamescom is currently underway and as you would expect, most companies revealed new sets of images for their games,. Still, today we will focus on Watch Dogs, Dying Light and Mad Max. Therefore, you can find below some new images for these three titles. Watch Dogs promises to be one hell of a sandbox title, while Dying Light aims to blend together Mirror’s Edge and Dead Island. Our dear friends over at PCGamesHardware have captured the first gameplay footage of Double Fine’s Broken Age that was showcased during this year’s Gamescom. Broken Age is a point-and-click adventure telling the stories of a young boy and girl leading parallel lives. The girl has been chosen by her village to be sacrificed to a terrible monster–but she decides to fight back. Meanwhile, a boy on a spaceship is living a solitary life under the care of a motherly computer, but he wants to break free to lead adventures and do good in the world.
