The Dolphin Emulator development team announced today the release of Dolphin 4.0 (GameCube & Wii emulator). According to the team, this new version comes with over 2500 changes from its previous build, and can be downloaded for Windows (x86 or x64), Mac OS X (>= 10.7) or Ubuntu 13.04. Total War: Rome 2 – Third Beta Update Now Available, Comes With Another 100 Fixes

Creative Assembly has released the third beta update for its strategy title, Total War: Rome 2. According to its changelog, this patch bring significant improvements to multiplayer campaign speed, Frame Rate improvements on Campaign map on low spec Core2 Duo cpu’s in windowed mode, as well as Frame Rate improvements on Campaign map across all configurations when setting Effects Quality to Low or High. Electronic Arts has released the official packshots for its upcoming racer, Need for Speed: Rivals. Need for Speed: Rivals is powered by Frostbite 3 and is said to be locked at 30fps, even on the PC. Which sounds ridiculous but there you have it. Perhaps the low PC sales will force the development team to release a patch that will unlock the game’s framerate?
