Good news for FPS tactical and zombie fans as TAKEDOWN: Red Sabre and State Of Decay are releasing today thanks to Steam’s early access program. Takedown: Red Sabre is realistic, closed-quarters, squad-based tactical FPS, and is described as a thinking man’s shooter.
The player that takes things slow and plans their tactics carefully will overcome the player who runs in with guns blazing. Close-quarters battle brings the fight inside, as you see SWAT teams or SOF units taking down small numbers of dangerous adversaries. Non-linear environments allow for multiple routes and tactics and add replayability.
State of Decay, on the other hand, is a zombie survival title in which players will be able to decide where they’d like to set up a fortified safe heaven for them and other survivors they have rescued, form raiding parties to gather resources and create supply chains. Players can also use the materials they have gathered to develop their community as they see fit, however resources will deplete as they pillage areas, and zombies are attracted to noise and activity.
