A couple of weeks ago, we presented you some images from a fan-made project that aimed to recreate Uncharted 3 in CryEngine 3. Naturally, a lot of people criticized this project’s sand textures, which is perhaps why modder ‘PianoPolish’ decided to enhance them and release some new screenshots. The end result comes really close to what Naughty Dog has achieved, so kudos to the modder. Interceptor Entertainment has released a massive update for its Rise of the Triad remake. This new patch will update your game’s version to 1.1 and comes with hundreds of fixes, tweaks, optimizations and features requested during the first month since release. In addition, the development team revealed that it has added five brand new maps and a map playlist tool in this patch for free. Total War: Rome II – Beta Patch 2 Available, Contains 100 Fixes

As promised, Creative Assembly has released the second beta patch for its newly released strategy title, Total War: Rome II. According to its release notes, this patch comes with some Campaign performance optimisations, improvements on the campaign’s AI round time, pathfinding optimisations for its campaign mode and more conservative out-of-the-box graphics settings and resolution for DirectX 10 and 11 on Mobile GPUs.
