Activision and Infinity Ward have released a new update for Call of Duty: Ghosts on all platforms. According to the release notes, this patch improves performance issues caused by spamming and comes with fixes for various hacks including “invisibility” and “god mode”. Deadfall Adventures is the latest FPS from The Farm 51, the team that was behind NecroVisioN and Painkiller: Hell & Damnation. The game is said to be an adventure-action FPS that is full of spectacular jaw-dropping moments, set in picturesque locations including Egypt, Arctic and forgotten Mayan ruins in the jungles of Guatemala. Well, Nordic Games was certainly exaggerating here as it lacks polish, its voice acting is – at least – average, the animations of all the characters is bad, and there are no jaw-dropping moments whatsoever. It’s been a while since our last look on Unreal Engine 4, don’t you think? I mean, PS4 and Xbox One have already been released and apart from Fortnite (and two or three other titles like Daylight and a F2P game from Yager), there isn’t any other title advertised for it. Therefore, it’s good to see another video from Epic Games that concentrates on the visual effects that can be achieved by its latest engine. Holy bloody hell. Back in 2012, we reported about Starbound; a brand new game undergoing active development by Chucklefish, an indie game company made up of a lovely group of dudes and dudettes. Starbound was meant to be released in Summer 2012. Fast forward two years and here we are without it. No, the game was not cancelled. It just got sliiiiiightly delayed. Microsoft has released a new video for Project Spark; a title that will be exclusive to Windows 8 and aims to let gamers create whatever they want to and share their creations with others. Project Spark is described as a powerful, yet simple way to build and play your own worlds, stories, and games. Players will be able to share all of their creations to a dynamic community, and play what the community makes. Basically, think of Project Spark as a bigger version of Little Big Planet. Now if only that game wasn’t exclusive to Windows 8… but then again, Microsoft needs to somehow hype its latest OS with some exclusives, right? Time for that Halo 3 Windows 8 exclusive title then.
