Brutal Doom – New Video Shows Improved Blood Particles
Modder ‘SGtMarkIV’ has released a new video for the latest version of Brutal Doom, showcasing the new and improved blood particles that will be featured in it. According to the modder, the blood has been further modified to make it have a better liquid aspect, and make the bleeding on amputations more realistic (with arterial blood spurting out from the wound). AMD’s Mantle Developer Beta Program Begins This April, Will Go Public Afterwards
During GDC 2014, it has been revealed that AMD’s Mantle program for developers will begin this April. According to the following slide, Mantle’s Beta SDK website will be opening this April. The catch here is that access to it will be limited to a select few. In short, don’t expect small indie developers to get their hands on it.
