Fan-Made Unreal Engine 4 Project Shows Impressive Sci-Fi Real-Time In-Engine Visuals

Polycount’s member ‘tsmith3d‘ has been working on a sci-fi project powered by Unreal Engine 4, and has recently revealed the first images from it. This sci-fi project looks incredible, sporting incredible real-time visuals. This project gives us an idea of what the next Mass Effect game could look like, so be sure to check them out. As tsmith3d noted, this project – while impressive – is still in early stage, something we can definitely notice from some square-ish rocks and the lack of ambient occlusion (especially noticeable in the last snowy image). The Crew – Day-One Patch Detailed

Ubisoft’s The Crew is currently available on all platforms and the French company has released a day-one update for it. According to the changelog, this update fixes matchmaking and sessions problem, and improves the game’s performance and stability. We’ve contacted Ubisoft for a review code, so hopefully we’ll get one sooner than later. Regarding Inquisition, we’ve been in contact with EA for the past two weeks and still have not secured a review code. We’ll give the big publisher one more day until we purchase the game ourselves. Man, it really seems that Ubisoft can’t stop screwing things up. Yesterday, a video came to our attention suggesting that the latest Far Cry 4 update for PS4 removed the God-Ray effects that were previously available to it. Instead of posting this article straight away, we decided to hold our horses until we got confirmation from a number of sources.
