Polycount’s member ‘djoexe’ has been working these past months on a recreation of Silent Hill P.T. in Unreal Engine 4, and released a couple of days ago a flythrough video from it. djoexe came really close to the real thing, something that is really amazing considering a whole team was behind the P.T. demo. Tekken 7 – New Trailers Released, New Character Unveiled
Our reader ‘beq-beq’ has informed us about two new trailers for the next chapter in the Tekken fighting series, Tekken 7. One of the reasons we are not really covering this fighting game is because Namco has not revealed yet whether it will hit the PC or not. Tekken 7 is powered by Unreal Engine 4, and since a PC port seems likely (imagine cross-platform play support similar to the one of SFV would be awesome. Now that would be cool). It seems the latest trailer of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt disappointed a number of PC gamers. While this trailer remains epic, its visuals seem to have taken a noticeable hit, as there were a lot of low-resolution textures on various environmental objects, the terrain itself, and some characters. And since the game is advertised as one of the most graphically intense games, these graphical compromises let down a lot of PC gamers. Dragon Age: Inquisition – PC Performance Analysis
Dragon Age: Inquisition was perhaps the most highly anticipated RPG of 2014. Originally meant to go toe to toe with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Bioware’s RPG was lucky enough to earn everyone’s attention after CD Projekt RED delaying its own RPG to 2015. So, time now to see whether Bioware dropped the ball on this one, or whether we have in our hands a proper PC version of a highly addictive RPG.
