When Dynasty Warriors 9 hit the PC on February 13th, we were really disappointed with its initial performance. As such, and since the game underperformed on all platforms, we’ve decided to give KOEI Tecmo some time in order to improve overall performance. And since it’s been almost three weeks ago since its release – and after receiving two patches – it’s time to benchmark it and see how it performs on the PC platform. Chrono Trigger on the PC is a mess, there is no doubt about that. YouTube’s ‘Bitplex’ has released an incredible video, showing what a re-imagined 3D version of the classic 2D fighter, Mortal Kombat 2, could have looked like. Bitplex used sprites and screenshots of the game to extrude various components and create a true 3D environment from a static image. AMD discrete GPU market share increases to its highest point in the past three years

A few days ago, we reported – based on Jon Peddie Research’s quarterly discrete video card sales report for Q4 2017 – that PC gaming remains the primary driver for GPU sales. Trails of Cold Steel 2 – Patch 1.2 adds 120fps & 240fps options, introduces experimental HD font option

XSEED Games and Nihon Falcom have released a brand new patch for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II. This patch adds 120 FPS and 240 FPS frame limiter options, packs various optimizations to loading speed and caching, and fixes memory allocation ordering issues, eliminating some types of crashes occuring on some sytems. Far Cry 5 – “Mayhem in the Mountains” trailer packs 3 minutes of new gameplay footage

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Far Cry 5, featuring 3 minutes of new gameplay footage. This trailer shows a new region of Hope County: the Whitetail Mountains, a rugged land of trees, ziplines, and tons of opportunities to snipe cultists and blow stuff up.
