Metro Exodus – Raytracing versus Rasterization comparison video (off-screen)

Last month, 4A Games announced that Metro Exodus will support real-time raytracing thanks to NVIDIA’s RTX. 4A Games will be using true raytracing to render both Ambient Occlusion and Indirect Lighting in full real-time, and the off-screen video below – courtesy of PCGamesHardware – showcases the benefits of it. NIS America and Nihon Falcom have released the first beta patch for the PC version of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA. Blade Runner scene recreated in Unreal Engine 4, looking better than its CRYENGINE version

As I’m pretty sure you may know, I am a big fan of Blade Runner. After all, my desktop background – as seen in pretty much all PC Performance Analysis articles – is a Blade Runner recreation in CRYENGINE. YouTube’s ‘Thanaclara’ is currently working on an amazing fan remake of the classic Nintendo 64 Star Wars Rogue Squadron game in Unreal Engine 4.
