Starfield new feature

Starfield will get FSR 3.0 in early 2024; city maps, new ways of travel and mod support coming in future updates

Bethesda has revealed that the next update for Starfield will add support for FSR 3.0 Frame Generation and Intel XeSS. This update will come out in early 2024, and it will also include a large number of “in-progress” quest fixes.

Bethesda has also shared some of the new features it plans to add to its space RPG. According to the team, future updates will add city maps, new ways of travel and mod support. These will be rolling out with a regular cadence of fixes and updates. Bethesda expects to be releasing these updates every six weeks. Or at least that’s the plan.

Let’s hope that the FSR 3.0 implementation will be similar to the one we got in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Yes, FSR 3.0 is still inferior to DLSS 3. However, it’s not as bad as the one we got in Forspoken or Immortals of Aveum. And yes, Starfield already officially supports DLSS 3.

Also, a proper space travel system could be possible in Starfield. After all, we’ve already seen a mod that enables such a thing. So, I really don’t know why Bethesda hadn’t implemented it from the get-go. Those constant loadings completely destroyed the game’s overall immersion.

Before closing, here are some cool mods for Starfield that you can download. Last month, we talked about one that adds cool quests when you explore new places. There’s also a mod that makes dead bodies move realistically, as well as a mod that aims to overhaul the game’s enemy AI. In September, we shared the Disk Cache Enabler Mod, which helps reduce how much space the game uses on your computer. There’s also a mod that gives characters super realistic eyes. Oh, and if you don’t like the default camera views in dialogue, there’s a mod to disable them.

Sprinting Stuttering Fix is another cool mod that stops the annoying stutters when you run. Then, you can grab this mod that makes the game run smoother by fixing a bunch of scripts. And don’t forget these two must-have mods that make the game look and feel better with a new User Interface and cooler Particle Effects. On the other hand, this mod lets you travel between planets in real-time. Oh, and let’s not forget this mod that brings a dynamic weather system into the game, as well as this mod that aims to improve the behavior of NPCs.

Finally, here are all the best Starfield mods you can download.
