Nvidia is hosting a “Geforce Special Event” on September 1st, will announce Ampere Gaming GPUs

After the latest teaser reveal yesterday, NVIDIA has just now announced that it will be hosting a special GeForce Event on September 1st. NVIDIA’s CEO, Jensen Huang, will host this special event which we expect to be a digital or a pre-recorded show, since the company has not mentioned any livestream event.

The ‘Geforce Special Event’ will take place at 9 am Pacific Time. There also seems to be an official countdown timer which ends on September 1st at 9 a.m. Pacific Time.

To quote Nvidia’s official press statement:

“NVIDIA will broadcast a GeForce Special Event, featuring an address by founder and CEO Jensen Huang, on Sept. 1, at 9 a.m. Pacific time.

During the event, Huang will highlight the company’s latest innovations in gaming and graphics. Tune in at https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/special-event/. via NVIDIA

We expect this event to showcase the latest innovations in gaming and graphics from Nvidia. This Geforce launch event is rumored to be for Nvidia’s RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti next-gen flagship GPUs. It is also going to take place 21 years after the introduction of the first commercial graphics card, the GeForce 256, which was NVIDIA’s first GPU.
