Crimson Desert new feature

MindsEye & Crimson Desert will support NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen

NVIDIA has announced that MindsEye and Crimson Desert, two highly anticipated PC games, will support NVIDIA DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen. Alongside these two games, we also got two new trailers for LIGHT OF MOTIRAM and WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers (which will also support DLSS 4 MFG).

Crimson Desert started as an open-world MMORPG. During development, though, Pearl Abyss pivoted and made it a single-player game. And, to be honest, I’m glad it’s no longer an MMORPG.

The biggest feature of Crimson Desert is its combat system. From what I’ve seen, the game is more action-oriented and more forgiving than Dark Souls/Elden Ring. So, this should be good news to those who want something more than a Dark Souls clone.

Crimson Desert will be powered by the BlackSpace Engine. And, from the looks of it, Crimson Desert may not suffer from stutters. Or at least that’s the vibe I got from a recent 10-minute video from IGN. You can find that video at the end of the article.

On the other hand, MindsEye is a new story-based, single-player action-adventure game. This game is created by former GTA devs, so it will remind you of GTA and Watch_Dogs. A few days ago, Build A Rocket Boy released two teaser trailers for it. These trailers appeared to be similar to those that were leaked a while ago. So, you can at least now watch them in 4K.

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers is a new Souls-like game that takes place in the land of Shu during the late Ming Dynasty. This is a game I’ve been looking forward to. WUCHANG started as a UE4 game but was ported to UE5. So, I don’t know whether it will take advantage of Lumen or not. We’ll have to try it to see for ourselves.

Finally, LIGHT OF MOTIRAM is an online game that looks like the Horizon games. Basically, think of it as Horizon meets Palworld/Lost Ark. Players will explore the vast open world, build their base of operations, advance technology, train Mechanimals, and take on formidable bosses.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
