First person shooter fans, here is something special for you today. 4A Games and Deep Silver are offering the original version of Metro 2033 for free on Steam. This is a limited offer that ends tomorrow and those who acquire their free copy will be able to keep the game forever.
Metro 2033 is a story of intensive underground survival where the fate of mankind rests in your hands. You play as Artyom who was born in the last days before the fire, but raised Underground. In this first person shooter, players will explore the desolate city-surface, trusting their gas mask and rifle to protect them from a poisoned world and the creatures that roam there.
Metro 2033 was originally released in 2010 and featured full DX10 and NVIDIA PhysX support for high-end gaming PCs in order to deliver incredible visuals. Deep Silver released a Redux version in 2014, however some gamers preferred the original visuals of the first version.
Those interested can acquire their free copy for Metro 2033 by visiting its official Steam store page. As said, this is a limited offer so make sure to get it while you still can.
