Incoming ‘The Darkness 2’ FOV Patch; patch is completed, will be rolled out soon

Remember all those complaints about the FOV of The Darkness 2? Remember those promises that 2K Games made about an upcoming patch that would meant to include a slider for it? Well, we have some good news and some bad news. The good news is that the patch is completed and getting ready to be launched. The bad news is that 2K Games does not have any ETA at the moment.
This is obviously due to Steam and the fact that Valve needs to validate it before releasing it. It could take a few weeks, so stay tuned for more. Naturally, if the game didn’t use Steam, the patch would be already out… but that’s a different story.
As 2K Games’ Community Manager, Elizabeth, said:
“I wanted to let you know the FOV patch is completed and getting ready to be launched. I don’t have an exact date or time yet, but when we hear final word, we’ll let you guys know. “
