NVIDIA has lifted the embargo for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 and numerous publications have posted their reviews and benchmarks. And, from what we can see, the RTX 3060 is almost as fast as AMD’s Radeon RX 5700XT.
According to WCCFTech, the NVIDIA RTX 3060 is slightly slower than the AMD Radeon RX 5700XT in both Doom Eternal and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
PCGamesHardware has tested games that benefit either NVIDIA or AMD GPUs. For instance, the RTX 3060 is faster than the 5700XT in Control. On the other hand, AMD’s GPU is significantly faster than the RTX 3060 in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
According to Kitguru, the RTX3060 offers similar performance to the AMD Radeon RX 5700XT in Cyberpunk 2077 and The Division 2. The RTX 3060 is a bit faster by up to 2-3fps, however, and given the small performance difference, we can call this a tie.
As Eurogamer reported, the AMD Radeon RX 5700XT is a bit faster than the RTX 3060 in Death Stranding and Far Cry 5.
Lastly, Guru3D states that the RTX 3060 is faster than the RX 5700XT in Resident Evil 3 Remake and Strange Brigade. However, the RTX 3060 is also slower than the RX 5700XT in other games, like F1 2020 and Metro Exodus.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
