Armored Core 6 feature-2

Armored Core 6 gets official PC system requirements

Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have revealed the official PC system requirements for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. These PC specs also confirm the game’s Ray Tracing, which will be only available in the garage. In other words, Armored Core 6 won’t have any Ray Tracing effects during gameplay.

According to these PC requirements for Armored Core 6, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Core i7-4790K, Intel Core i5-8400, AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or AMD Ryzen 5 2600. FromSoftware has listed the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 and the AMD Radeon RX 480 as the minimum required GPUs. Additionally, the game will require 60GB of free hard-disk space.

FromSoftware recommends an Intel Core i7-7700, Intel Core i5-10400, AMD Ryzen 7 2700X or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with 12GB of RAM. The team also recommends using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060, AMD Radeon RX 590 or Intel Arc A750.

Unfortunately, though, the developers have not detailed the resolution, graphics settings and framerates that these PC specs target.

Bandai Namco will release Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon on August 25th. The Steam version will be playable from 7:00 AM. The publisher has not provided us with a review code, so don’t expect a day-1 PC Performance Analysis. However, we’ve already pre-ordered it so we’ll be sure to share our initial tech impressions.

Lastly, we should note that the PC version will have support for 120fps. This will be the first FromSoftware that officially supports framerates higher than 60fps on PC. Furthermore, the game will be using the Arxan Easy Anti-Cheat DRM, and there is currently no word on whether it will also use Denuvo.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
