Battlefield 2042 Patch 5.2.1 released, and here are all its fixes, tweaks and changes

DICE has just released Patch 5.2.1 for Battlefield 2042, and revealed its complete changelog/update notes. Patch 5.2.1 is a small Quality of Life Update to address some immediate issues that have been brought to DICE’s attention following the release of the Battlefield 2042 Update 5.2.

Going into more details, Patch 5.2.1 resolves an issue that resulted in the Underbarrel Smoke Grenade dissipating too quickly within certain weather conditions. It also fixes an exploit that caused players to keep downed players in a Being Revived state. Additionally, it improves scenarios that resulted in players receiving explosive damage through walls.

DICE also stated that it will reveal more details about the future of Battlefield 2042 next week. Whether this implies a new Season or important gameplay changes remains to be seen. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
