Now that’s what we’re talking about. YouTube’s member ‘Wintergore ‘ created one of the best mashup videos between Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon and Battlefield. Battlemon starts with a Metal Gear Solid feel to it, with the isometric camera and the alarm sound effect. It quickly goes into a small RPG fight (in a Pokemon perspective view) and is followed by a ‘remix’ of Pokemon’s main theme. Sony Online Entertainment has released a new trailer for PlanetSide 2. PlanetSide 2 sports amazing visuals and could very well be the best looking free-to-play title. Not only that, but the whole concept of PlanetSide 2 is amazing and offers unique real-time classes with lots of enemies in huge maps. It’s been a while since our last – video – check on Project CARS, right? Well, we are happy to present you today a new community trailer from member ‘JonZ’. And let’s start by saying that Slightly Mad Studios needs to replace the tree models and add some more environmental detail. Apart from those small nitpicks though, Project CARS looks ridiculously amazing. Everything is top notch, from the car models to the reflections and the lighting system. Now this is just brilliant. Warner Bros released the launch trailer of LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes that looks epically amazing. THQ has released a live-action trailer for Darksiders 2. Awakened by the End of Days, Death, the most feared of the legendary Four Horsemen, embarks upon a quest to restore mankind, and redeem his brother’s name. Along the way, the Horseman discovers that there are far worse things than an earthly Apocalypse, and that an ancient grudge may threaten all of Creation. Mr Kees de Koning created an interesting machinima for Battlefield 3 that involves a race with lots of explosions. This machinima is basically a cross between Blur/Split Second and Battlefield 3. And after watching it, you’ll definitely miss the mod tools that were released for Battlefield 2 and are nowhere to be found in Battlefield 3. Battlefield 3’s fanbase is huge and there is a huge potential for some mind-blowing mods or total conversions. Unfortunately though, DICE thought otherwise. The Dark Eye – Chains of Satinav is an interesting 2D adventure game that has just been released. As with most games, it contains some easter eggs and holy cow at that sex scene. That was definitely something we had not expected to see, so kudos to Daedalic. It doesn’t really show much flesh, but that is irrelevant.
