Monster Hunter Online – First Gameplay Footage Unveiled

A new off-camera video for Capcom’s upcoming Monster Hunter Online has emerged, showcasing the game’s visuals. Monster Hunter Online is powered by Crytek’s proprietary engine, the CryEngine 3, and seems to be running fine (even in its current state) in ‘triple-monitor’ mode. The game will be published by Tencent and is planned for release in Japan (the game will most probably come to the West too). Enjoy! Back in March, we informed you about TimeSplitters: Rewind; a new TimeSplitters title that has been approved by Crytek, will be developed via CryEngine 3 and will be distributed for free. And today, we are happy to inform you that the development team has released the first development video to showcase a little of Training Ground’s new look. During this year’s Rezzed, Devolver Digital showcased the sequel to Hotline Miami, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, and VG247 has managed to capture some footage from it. According to its description, in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number players can step into the murderous mind of several distinct characters – each with their own motivations and methods of execution – as storylines intersect and reality slips away into a haze of neon and carnage. The game is planned for a 2013 release on PC and Linux. Cats cats cats. Everybody seems to love cats. And everybody loves Street Fighter II. So what happens when you mashup these two together? Well, Cat Fighter is obviously the answer to that question. ThePetCollective has posted this amazing parody for Capcom’s fighting game, Street Fighter II, in which we get to see two cats duke it out. This parody reminded us of the Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter parodies for Jean Claude Van Damme’s movies, therefore we decided to also include them below. Star Citizen – New In-Engine Footage Revealed

RSI and Cloud Imperium have released a new video featuring in-engine footage from their upcoming space combat title, Star Citizen, showcasing one of the new spaceships that will be featured in it. Star Citizen is powered by CryEngine 3 and looks spectacular. Although there isn’t any release date yet, the game will be entering its alpha phase in Q4 2013. Serellan Games has released the first gameplay footage of Takedown: Red Sabre. Takedown: Red Sabre is the spiritual successor to games like the original Rainbow Six and SWAT series, and will focus on realistic weapons modeling, squad based play, in a close-quarters battle setting. The following footage is from an alpha build of the PC version. Takedown: Red Sabre is currently planned for a 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3, and promises to be a thinking-person’s shooter. Enjoy! A new video for Watch Dogs has been leaked today, showcasing parts from the multiplayer mode of this highly anticipated title. This video seems a bit unpolished (perhaps the footage is from an early version?), and Ubisoft has been trying to take it down this whole day. Our reader ‘Cristian Fabian Munoz Isla’ has updated us about the progress of his amazing Mortal Kombat II SNES mod for Doom. Cristian added a cool custom map to his mod that will bring a lot of memories to all 16bit console fans.
