Surgeon Simulator 2013 may very well be the coolest and most enjoyable title of 2013. Its original prototype version – developed in just 48 hours at the 2013 Global Game Jam in January – challenged players to complete a heart transplant, however Bossa Studios decided to further polish it, and release it on Steam. According to the team, the full Steam version comes with additional features, operations and environments. YouTube’s member ‘Dslyecxi’ has posted a video in which he showcases the newly impressive fog effecs that Bohemia added to its military sim FPS title, ArmA 3. And quite frankly, this is the best fog effects we’ve ever seen. Contrary to other titles, ArmA 3’s fog looks like a… real fog. Now imagine a new Silent Hill – or another horror – game with that kind of fog. Man, that would be too good to be true. Screw that, imagine a DayZ mod for ArmA 3 with this feature enabled. Now this is how you make memorable trailers. Paradox Interactive has released a trailer for its upcoming turn-based naval strategy game, Leviathan Warships. What differentiates this trailer from the latest of other games is the jazz music, alongside the amazing narrator. Even though this game might turn out average at best, this trailer opened my appetite from more. Way to go Paradox.
