IGN has shared a video, showcasing the first 15 minutes of Tacoma. Tacoma is the new multi-threaded narrative game from the creators of Gone Home. Tacoma is basically a walking simulator that takes place in a space station, and players will have to discover – via recordings – what happened in this station. YouTube’s ‘dbthanatos’ has released a video, showcasing the first map from DOOM 2016 being recreated in the original DOOM game. This map took dbthanatos a couple weeks to create, and is really close to the original map. It features DOOM 2016’s weapons, portals, sprites that resemble the enemies of 2016. A few days ago, Gearbox revealed the 20th Anniversary Edition of Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour. This Edition will feature an all-new “True3D Rendering” mode and IGN has shared a video, showcasing the game running under this mode. To be honest, there aren’t many differences between the original and this “new HD” mode (other than some additional lighting effects, some extra filtering and better aspect ratio scaling). IGN has released a new video, showcasing 7 minutes of gameplay footage from Sonic Mania. Developed in collaboration between SEGA, Christian Whitehead, Headcannon, and PagodaWest Games, Sonic Mania is a 2D Sonic game that features new zones and remixed classic levels from past Sonic games, and will offer three playable characters (Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles). Here is 15 minutes of gameplay footage from ReCore

Polygon has released a video, showcasing 15 minutes of gameplay footage from ReCore. ReCore is an action-adventure from Keiji Inafune and the makers of Metroid Prime, and is currently planned for a September 13th release. And as we can see from the video, its animations – and shooting mechanics – are kind of rough, which may disappoint a number of its fans.
