Deus Ex: Mankind Divided – New Tech Details Revealed, Dawn Engine Is a Heavily Modified Glacier 2 Engine
At this year’s GDC, Eidos Montréal’s Graphics Programmer Nicolas Trudel has revealed some new tech information about Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. According to Nicolas, the Dawn Engine that powers this new Deus Ex game is a heavily modified version of IO Interactive’s Glacier 2 Engine. Moreover, the game’s global illumination solution uses hundreds of thousands of lighting probes. Star Wars: Battlefront – Outer Rim Update Now Available
Star Wars: Battlefront’s paid Outer Rim content is now available and DICE has released a new update for it. According to its changelog, this update packs various lighting, textures, audio, user interface, text, and collision fixes, introduces Hutt Contracts and Spectator Mode, and brings various balances tweaks. Bioware Secretly Unveiled Its New IP at GDC 2016
It appears that BioWare has secretly unveiled its new IP at this year’s GDC event. Alistair McNally, BioWare’s Senior Director of Creative Development, tweeted that he was wearing a T-Shirt at GDC that had their new IP on it. Unfortunately, it seems noone was able to capture a photo of that T-Shirt, therefore it remains a mystery what this new IP could actually be.
