505 Games has announced that Underworld Ascendant, the fan-funded action RPG from independent game studio OtherSide Entertainment, co-founded by Paul Neurath (Ultima Underworld, Thief) and Warren Spector (Deus Ex, Epic Mickey), will be releasing on the PC on November 15th. Anno 1800 releases on February 26th 2019, gets a Gamescom 2018 trailer

Ubisoft has announced that the latest part in the Anno strategy series, Anno 1800, will release on February 26th, 2019. Anno 1800 promises to take the series to the 19th century this February, giving players a chance to build an empire in an era of industry, trade, and exploration. Square Enix has revealed new details, screenshots and a trailer for LIFE IS STRANGE 2, the next entry in the highly successful, critically-acclaimed and award-winning franchise from DONTNOD Entertainment, the creators of the original LIFE IS STRANGE. Confirmed: Final Fantasy XV, Serious Sam 4, Mechwarrior 5, PUBG and more will support real-time ray tracing [UPDATE: Apparently not]

And it has been officially confirmed. Final Fantasy XV, Serious Sam 4, Mechwarrior 5, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, We Happy Few and more will support real-time ray tracing. As we’ve already reported, Final Fantasy XV will be supporting ray tracing via its new Vulkan renderer that will be added, though we don’t know how it will be using ray tracing. Battlefield 5 Open Beta begins on September 6th

DICE has announced that the Battlefield V Open Beta will begin on September 4th for early access owners and September 6th for all players on Origin for PC. The Open Beta will showcase the soon-to-be-iconic Rotterdam map on Conquest mode as well as the Arctic Fjord map on both Conquest and Grand Operations. NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti can run the Unreal Engine 4 Infiltrator tech demo with 78fps in 4K

While NVIDIA did not reveal any benchmarks for its new RTX graphics card, we got a taste of what the high-end model, the RTX 2080Ti, can achieve in a specific current-gen tech demo. As NVIDIA’s Jensen Huang claimed, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080Ti was able to run the Unreal Engine 4 Infiltrator tech demo in 4K with 78fps at a “quality that has never be seen before“.
