Shocked; This is a real-time screenshot of a game

I’m shocked. I truly am as I already know that C.A.R.S looks amazing. But this level of detail is simply mind-blowing. This could easily pass as a ‘bullshot’ or a photoshopped picture but no, this is real-time guys. This is what the game looks like in close ups when you are actually driving. This… this is truly the future – graphically speaking – of racing games. And especially the road looks so… real. Yeah, we can finally say that a game looks real. Nuclear Dawn, Dead Island, Team Fortress 2 and Renegade Ops Patches Released

Great news for PC gamers as we got new patches for Nuclear Dawn, Team Fortress 2, Dead Island and Renegade Ops. Since a lot of you are interested in these games, we decided to include all of them in one post. As always, these patches will be auto-downloaded next time you start the Steam client and you can find the changelog for Nuclear Dawn and Team Fortress 2 after the jump. Unfortunately though, we do not have a changelog yet for Dead Island and Renegade Ops, although we do know that Renegade Ops now gives you the option to set up the screen resolution. PC gamers, meet Secrets of Grindea; a 16bit JRPG with 4player Co-Op coming to PC in 2012

Now as you all know, I love all those 16bit SNES/Mega-Drive JRPGs. So, PC gamers, meet another promising indie 2D RPG that is coming to our beloved platform. Secrets of Grindea is developed by a three-man team, consisted of Fred Strom, Teddy Sjostrom and Vilya Svensson and looks simply amazing. Damn how I miss those days. The game is slated for a 2012 release and will feature co-op support with up to 4 players. The team has just released a video that that showcases their game and can be viewed bellow. Enjoy! Heavy Fire: Afghanistan – Five New Screenshots Released

Mastiff released today five new screenshots for their much-anticipated military action title Heavy Fire: Afghanistan. For its concept, Heavy Fire: Afghanistan looks great and seems able to marry the old-school on-rails gameplay with modern graphics. This is definitely a game to experience on the arcades, so we are a bit disappointed that the game will only come to current generation consoles and PCs. Crysis Mod – The Mutant Factor; New Screenshots Released

The Mutant Factor is a new singleplayer campaign for Crysis and Crysis Wars. This a completely different story with a new set of characters which is heavily influenced by the Half-Life, Crysis, and F.E.A.R series of games. This mod is created by mckool and will be released in the next couple of months as it needs only one final cutscene and several minor tweaks to the last level in order to be completed. Half Life 2: Zeitgeist – New Screenshots revealed

Northcape Studios released today some new screenshots for their upcoming Half Life 2 mod, Zeitgeist. Zeitgeist is a single player modification, playing in the futuristic 1930s of a fictional time line. In addition, the company released the game’s first video footage which shows the player leaving the escalators at Piccadilly Underground Station, catching a train and being carried into another station.
